Barbara Bush Library

The Barbara Bush Library will present fun activities for the whole family during CreekFest:

Scavenger Hunt: 9:00am-3:00pm
Between 9am and 3pm, families can follow the clues to track down objects in every area of the library. Hunt down a secret letter at each stop. Unscramble the letters to win, and select a small gift of your choice!

Pick up your game card in the library foyer. The clues to finding the next stop are in writing and in QR codes at each location.
Book Walk: 11:00am-1:00pm
Drop by the library between 11am and 1pm for the Book Walk — just like a Cake Walk, but with books! Walk around when the music plays, and if you are on the lucky number when the music stops, you win a free book of your choice from a large selection. Open to all ages.

Cypress Creek Christian Community Center

Blessing of the Animals: 9:00am – 1:00pm

The Ministry of Cypress Creek Christian Church invites you to bring the furry, feathered, finned or scaly members of your family for blessing. Drop by to  receive a pastorial blessing for your animal companion; visit the Animal Encounter (Petting Zoo), including a turtle, goat and rabbit;  visit Adoption Booths for English Bulldogs & Stuffed Animals; have your face painted…for the humans; and much more! For families who are unable to have pets, we invite you to bring a stuffed animal for blessing.

NOTE: For the safety of all creatures, please use a leash, animal carrier, or whatever will provide peace of mind.

Family Activities: 9:00am-4:00pm

The Children’s Ministry of Cypress Creek Christian Church, Cypress Creek Christian Preschool and Friday Night Live will provide a fun-filled array of games and activities throughout the day for families in the Children/Youth Center, located directly across from the entrance to the Barbara Bush Library. Be sure to stop by the outdoor gazebo for face painting, hair painting, and more by Friday Nite Live!
