Scavenger Hunt: 9:00am-3:00pm
Between 9am and 3pm, families can follow the clues to track down objects in every area of the library. Hunt down a secret letter at each stop. Unscramble the letters to win, and select a small gift of your choice!
Pick up your game card in the library foyer. The clues to finding the next stop are in writing and in QR codes at each location.
Book Walk: 11:00am-1:00pm
Drop by the library between 11am and 1pm for the Book Walk — just like a Cake Walk, but with books! Walk around when the music plays, and if you are on the lucky number when the music stops, you win a free book of your choice from a large selection. Open to all ages.
The Children’s Ministry of Cypress Creek Christian Church, Cypress Creek Christian Preschool and Friday Night Live will provide a fun-filled array of games and activities throughout the day for families in the Youth Center, located directly across from the entrance to the Barbara Bush Library. Be sure to stop by the outdoor gazebo for face painting, hair painting, and more!
Presented by Cypress Creek Foundation for the Arts and Community Enrichment (FACE):

Throughout this enthnomusical journey, audience members will have an opportunity to explore various African, Afro-Cuban, and Caribbean rhythms and folklore that help explain the connection between African-American history and Hispanic heritage.
